Uniform

Uniform plays an important part in school life.

Students are part of one school community and feel very much that they belong to school because of their uniform;

it allows students to be ambassadors for the school community, in school and when travelling to and from school;

and it cuts through the pressures of modern life, allowing students to get ready for school promptly and without worrying about what to wear.

SCHOOL UNIFORM - ALL YEARS

  • Royal blue Albany blazer

  • Albany school tie

  • White Shirt

  • Pendle tartan kilt OR dark navy trousers (regular tailored fit, school logo optional)

  • Plain white, navy or black socks / plain black tights

  • Plain black shoes (trainers, boots or canvas pumps are not acceptable)

    Optional items

  • Plain navy v-neck jumper (no logo)

  • Coats must be plain grey, blue or black (no hoodies or tracksuit tops allowed).

INCORRECT UNIFORM

We take uniform and the correct wearing of uniform very seriously. When a student does not wear uniform correctly, we may be able to help them correct this in school quickly, however, if not then they may be asked to return to home to correct their appearance before attending school.
